Pueblo Pottery

Displays a wide range of Native American Pueblo pottery from the Southwestern United States. Full screen, full color images are accompanied by detailed descriptions. A glossary, bibliography and "classroom" offer opportunities for users to learn more. Lawrence Frank, author of Historic Pottery of the Pueblo Indians, 1600-1880, provided assistance and permission to use elements of his book in the exhibit.

Anarchist Images is an exhibit of anarchist posters from the Labadie Collection which forms part of the Special Collections Library at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. The Labadie Collection's anarchist posters are numerous, represent a variety of anarchist philosophies, and are international in scope. The posters in this exhibit exemplify the variety of opinions, viewpoints and causes which define anarchist movements.

The Art of the Fake is a digital exhibition of Egyptian artifacts from the University of Michigan's Kelsey Museum of Archeology. Created especially for the IPL, this exhibition showcases a variety of forgeries alongside examples of genuine Egyptian antiquities, including sculptures, mummy portraits and other artifacts.

Trains Across America

Trains Across America is a sampler of railroad photographs taken over the past 10 years. The photographer has been interested in trains ever since his parents put a Lionel train around the Christmas tree over 30 years ago. During recent years he has spent many weekends and vacations taking pictures of trains throughout the United States. We have compiled a digital album of these photos that will appeal not only to other railfans, but to anyone who appreciates good photography.
