• Black, White, Other by Lise Funderburg
  The author presents the results of interviews conducted with 46 people who have one white parent and one black parent. The subjects of the interviews mainly discuss how their lives affect and are affected by racial identity.

• Coping as a Biracial Teen by Renee D. Nash
  This book provides a positive outlook on the ways that young people and families cope with being biracial in America.

• Half and Half: Writers on Growing Up Biracial and Bicultural by Claudine C. O'Hearn (Editor)
  "A lively collection of essays on the theme of being biracial and bicultural in contemporary American society. Editor O'Hearn, herself born in Hong Kong and raised in Asia and Europe, has assembled a passionate medley of writings by 18 authors who share a bicultural or biracial identity."
