Cyber Picket Line
http://www.cf.ac.uk/ccin/union/
"This site is intended as a service to the international trade union movement. Its purpose is to assist direct communications between union activists around the world, signpost shortcuts to the huge amount of useful resources available on the net to union activists, and to spice this up with some humour and opinionated commentary. The centrepiece of the site is the World Directory of Trade Unions. There are now well over 1000 links to international union organisations, national unions and locals in every continent. As a general rule, the unions are classified by continent, country, then trade union centre(s), regional/state councils, individual national unions then locals. There are now two pages of Trade Union Resources that should be of use to stewards and branch officers."

The National Agricultural Workers Survey
http://www.dol.gov/dol/asp/public/programs/agworker/naws.htm
"The U.S. Department of Labor is the only national information source on the demographics, and working and living conditions of U.S. farmworkers. Since the NAWS began surveying farmworkers in 1988, it has collected information from over 25,000 workers. The survey samples all crop farmworkers in three cycles each year in order to capture the seasonality of the work. The NAWS locates and samples workers at their work sites, avoiding the well-publicized undercount of this difficult-to-find population." This site links to the most recent reports of the findings of the survey.
