It contains statistics, taxpayer information, forms, publications, and more. Everything that a taxpayer needs to know about filing a tax return can be found here. This site also educates taxpayers on a multitude of tax topics.

Maxwell Technologies' Taxing Times

This site is a public service of Maxwell Technologies, Inc. and provides downloadable copies of U.S. federal tax forms and instructions. There is also a copy of the entire U.S. income tax code and the IRS telephone directory for staff attorneys assigned to cover particular code sections. The forms are in "PDF" format and require the use of free software for viewing and printing (the Adobe Acrobat Reader). This site has a link to Adobe for downloading the reader. This is a good site to use when the IRS site gets overloaded at tax filing time.
