A very good resource from the United Kingdom full of information. Plants of the Future was formed in 1989 when a parcel of land at Penpol, near Lostwithiel in Cornwall was purchased to grow "useful plants." The mission of the organization is conservation, research, and education. The site includes access to many informational leaflets on plant use such as "Staple seed crops from perennials", Gardening tips, and links to other resources. The site also has good "checklists" for gardeners such as a checklist for "plants suitable for ground cover."
