How To Use Stately Knowledge:
Stately Knowledge is designed as a reference resource to help you learn about the United States of America. The information contained in Stately Knowledge is for you to use. If you need to download the pictures, go ahead! If you don't know how to download the pictures or you're just a little confused by Stately Knowledge, keep on reading!

How do I move around Stately Knowledge?
All the individual state pages are designed the same. So once you know how to move around in one of them, you've mastered all fifty states! Rules of color: if it's blue, you can click on it; if it's red, you have already clicked on it once but you can click on it again.

What is on the state's first page?
Once you've clicked on a state, you will be taken to the first page of the state. The first page contains a map of the state's location, important facts about that state, a picture of the state's flag, and three links to other World Wide Web pages about that state. Note: those three links will take you away from Stately Knowledge!

Cool. What is on the state's second page?
If you go to page two of any state's information, you will learn fascinating facts about the state, plus a collection of famous people from that state. The only change in the menu bar is that the lower left icon will take you back to the first page of that state.

Menu bar? What's with this menu bar?
On the bottom of every state page is a menu bar. Clicking on either the pictures or the words will get you to go where that link is going. The link on the left will lead you to the second page of that state's information. The link in the middle will return you the Stately Knowledge front page, where all the states are listed. The link on the far right will lead you to the Internet Public Library.

What is the Internet Public Library, anyway?
The Internet Public Library (IPL) is a library on the Internet! It contains reference sources, an exhibit department, a youth department, and a reference desk. The IPL is growing all the time, so come back to check it often. Stately Knowledge is a reference service for youth located in the IPL.

Well then, how do I download the state flag?
Mac users can click on the mouse button until a menu appears. From the menu, choose "Save this image as..." Give the map a name and click "save" to save it to your hard drive. Windows users can do the same thing, except you people click on the right button on the mouse.

There! That's it! Enjoy Stately Knowledge!
